East Wind

I often think of myself as a plant, like a dandelion seed blown by the wind to take root in a new country and a new life. This series of work is called East Wind, the breeze that blew me from China to my home (at the time) in North Carolina. I feel that every living being experiences blossoming; my work are inspired by botanical forms and references growth and change that is present in our lives.
